Increasing
the Spiritual Temperature
of South Eastern South Dakota

Fully Focused on God and His Word

Fully Formed by the Spirit in Community

Fully Engaged with Christ on Mission

“Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done . . .”

We believe that we are called to partner with God in seeing His Kingdom come and His will done here on earth as it is in heaven. This is the foundation for our vision of seeing the spiritual temperature of South Eastern South Dakota increase. We believe this vision will move forward as we are “Fully Focused on God and His Word,” “Fully Formed by the Spirit in Community,” and “Fully engaged with Christ on Mission.”

Fully Focused on God and
His Word

An important part of being transformed into the image of Christ is regularly engaging with Scripture. Community rhythms that align with this goal are Sunday morning services, Sunday School, Kids’ Church and Wednesday night youth group. We are consistently reminding each other to be in the Bible on a daily basis.

Fully Formed by the Spirit in Community

True spiritual growth can only happen in the context of relationship with God and with others. Our community rhythms that align with this goal include weekly community groups, yearly men’s and women’s retreats, and regular large group gatherings outside of Sunday morning.

Fully Engaged with Christ on Mission

Although our personal transformation is a key part to increasing the spiritual temperature, we will not see any change without the consistent practice of going out. Our community engages in this goal in multiple different ways that go beyond church run events. This includes a men’s breakfast, women’s community Bible study, community art exhibits, tea parties, meals with neighbors and more. This is all done with the desire of seeing strangers become a part of the family of God.

Our Denomination

We are a part of The Christian and Missionary Alliance. An Evangelical denomination that has roots in the holiness movement of the late 1800s. As a member of this denomination we adhere to the core beliefs of our Statement of Faith and align ourselves with their guiding policies.
